Grapevine Lottery Announcement: January Winners!

In January, Powerball inspired us to create something just as fun, but way easier to win.  As a result, we started up The Grapevine Lottery, a monthly giveaway which gives the Community the chance to earn double the payout for their campaigns.

We tallied up the videos that were posted in the month of January, and the winners have officially been selected!  We’re excited to announce our first lottery winners are (drumroll please…):

What’s your plan for the extra $$ in your pocket?

I really love building a community and sharing the knowledge I’ve learned. Last year my hairstylist opened her own salon and I gave her a few tips on how to grow a community on Instagram, my tips worked and she asked me to come teach other stylists and business owners. Earning extra money by helping others navigate social media has been very rewarding and something I would like to continue to do and expand upon that.

If you could live anywhere in the world where it be and why?

London! I have always loved London and YouTube has exposed me to so much more of the city. This past spring my husband and I visited London and I fell in love with the culture, history, and people. It is such an efficiently run city with so much to offer. I also love how close it is to all the other European countries I’d like to visit one day.  I can definitely see us living there in the future.

Definitely to brunch!

What is your favorite part of being in the Grapevine Community?

I love the opportunities that are open to us as well as the efficiency of working with brands. The communication can be lost sometimes when working on your own, but Grapevine makes it easy and safe for creators to find opportunities and collaborate.

Any secrets to YouTube success you’re willing to share with us?

Treat it like any business, be true to your word, and professional. Brands and viewers will respect honesty and professionalism.

What’s your plan for the extra $$ in your pocket?

Actually this came at the perfect time! My birthday is next weekend so I’m gonna use it to rent out the cutest little airbnb in Joshua Tree. Stay-cation, I think YES!

If you could live anywhere in the world where it be and why?

Right where I am actually, LA is the perfect city for the entrepreneur lives my husband and I lead together.  I don’t think I could live anywhere else and find the same opportunities I do here, especially in this digital media world.

To Brunch or not to Brunch?

Oh yes, totally into brunching, preferably with bottomless mimosas! This makes me think of a little web series with Diet Pepsi I was a part of called “Born to Brunch” 🙂

What is your favorite part of being in the Grapevine Community?

I love the ability to easily connect with brands that I may not have ever known about prior.  I’m a big believer in supporting small businesses and I think this is a great way to offer a mutual exchange of value to each other.

Any secrets to YouTube success you’re willing to share with us?

There is ENOUGH to go around! People often get competitive on this platform and that shouldn’t be the case. Collaborate often, connect dots for other creators, ask questions and get feedback from those you’re inspired by. This has helped me quite a bit 🙂

What’s your plan for the extra $$ in your pocket?

The extra money means I can get my next hard drive faster, and have a bit of cash for equipment!!

If you could live anywhere in the world where it be and why?

I live where I want to be, beautiful Santa Barbara, California!  My next favorite would be the South of France… a lovely setting to paint, like the French Impressionists!

To Brunch or not to Brunch?

I love Brunch, but even better, I love an early Sunday dinner, late in the afternoon, sitting at a restaurant overlooking the beautiful Harbor, at the oyster bar!  Ordering all kinds of fresh seafood sipping a cold crisp Chardonnay with friends!!!

What is your favorite part of being in the Grapevine Community?

I love the Grapevine community, I love I can propose at any length I want, short or long.  I love the categories of products outlined, so I can filter that way.  My best specialty is cooking, so I wouldn’t want to miss any cooking oriented campaigns, then I go to household type of things, then on down the line, to beauty — I’m a bit older so competing in that realm is a stretch!  But, I’ve been lucky in that realm as well with some great campaigns on Grapevine!  I bring an older demographic, so I can even find a place there!

Any secrets to YouTube success you’re willing to share with us?

Secrets to YouTube success? Well, the turtle didn’t get anywhere without sticking his neck out first! And that’s a line I used in the LovePops campaign! It is a far reaching concept!  In life and love, and on YouTube, you have to stick your neck out, take a few risks!
